Robin
M. Throckmorton, SPHR, a founding partner of
e-HResources.com and president of
Strategic Human Resources, Inc. For nearly fifteen (15)
years, Robin has been a consultant in the manufacturing,
service, retail, educational, and nonprofit
industries.
Robin's
experiences have included establishment and enhancement of
the human resources function, research and implementation of
best practices, and creation of various organizational
development programs. Her expertise in organizational
development includes performance management, multi-rater
feedback, succession planning, and career management. Robin
is a DDI certified trainer. She has designed and presented
numerous training programs on various issues ranging from
employment legislation to organizational development. Robin
is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Cincinnati
where she has taught various graduate classes including
Strategic Human Resources Management. Robin is also Myers
Briggs Type Indicator certified and has used the
certification to counsel individuals and groups in career
management and team building.
Robin has
volunteered for a number of advisory and leadership roles to
help serve the human resources profession. For three years,
she was the chapter advisor for the University of
Cincinnati's Student Society for Human Resources Management
(SHRM) chapter. Each year she was the advisor, the chapter
received the Superior Merit Award and a top 5 ranking in the
nation by SHRM. For the local professional SHRM chapter,
Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association (GCHRA),
Robin has served on the Board of Directors and as the SHRM
Student Liaison, Diversity Advocate, and Jobline
Coordinator.
Robin holds
a BS from Purdue University in Management and a Master of
Arts in Labor and Employment Relations from the University
of Cincinnati. She has been recognized by Professional Who's
Who and Entrepreneur Who's Who as a leader in human
resources.
